Jordanhill Parish Church

Glasgow the Caring City came into being in May 1999 in order to provide humanitarian relief for those made homeless by war in the Balkans. Since then the charity has given emergency humanitarian aid to people in countries such as Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Southern Sudan and Haiti.

Alongside relief given in times of war or natural disaster, Glasgow the Caring City supports development work South Africa, Southern Sudan, Uganda, Malawi, Burundi, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Iraq.

The charity welcomes gifts of clean clothing, shoes and bedding, which can be brought to Jordanhill Parish Church for collection. It is helpful if people bringing goods for collection contact Sue Gibson, the Church Administrator, (0141 959 2496) in advance. 

Please note – gifts of food cannot be accepted.
