Elders visit their districts prior to the March, June and October Communions.

The Minister gives priority in his visiting to specific situations where pastoral support is required and appreciates being notified of such situations as they arise.

Anyone who wishes to speak with the Minister, in confidence, on any pastoral matter should feel free to contact him at the Church Office (959 2496) or at the Manse (959 1310).

The Minister is supported in his provision of pastoral care by the Pastoral Care Team, which consists of himself and four other members, each of whom has specific areas of responsibility which complement the care provided by the Minister. The team members are the Minister, Robert Johnston, Elizabeth Buchanan, Jenny Gillespie and Alison Mitchell.

As Rev. Colin Renwick is Convener of the World Mission Council of the Church of Scotland until the end of May 2010, Rev. Robert Johnston is paid by that council to act as pastoral assistant.
